We witness long-standing fractures along our political lines, much like the fixed battle lines of old.  Talk has begun in some circles about the continued viability of Blue states that grow little food and have vast numbers of non-producers plundering resources.  Some Red states contain enclaves of democratic-controlled cities that primarily function like mini-blue states with policies and laws reflecting blue state values and proclivities.  Together, areas controlled by Democrats are powder kegs that threaten our country’s stability.

Our country is not monolithic.  Our people, our very country, are divided and continue to be divided over several principal philosophies that are unlikely to change.  That is unless a massive influx of illegal aliens overruns Blue states and forces those states to confront the consequences of their political ideologies.  We all witness rampant crime and out-of-control fiscal costs in the Northeast, Southwest, and California.  Now also seen in micro-locations like Gainesville, GA and Yakima, WA, and Aurora, CO. Many other small towns and cities are literally under siege from illegal aliens and lawlessness in general.

A Century of Changing Alliances:

.

While the Democrat and Republican parties dominate politics today, things were different in the first 100 years after our country’s founding.  President George Washington was unaffiliated with a party.  Next came Federalists, Whigs, Jefferson, and Democrat/Republican party presidents.  Since President Franklin Roosevelt, we’ve seen nearly an equal split between Democrat and Republic party presidents.  You might even start to believe there has been a significant shift in our views towards a more egalitarian outlook.

This question reminds me of the classic question concerning loyalty.  Are we loyal to some issue or person because we possess strong attachments to that issue or person?  Or are we loyal only as long as the situation dictates?  Many people will be egalitarian when it costs them little or nothing and quickly defect as their lifestyle is affected.  We are well beyond any measure of minor change today, with more and more traditional Americans shocked at what we are doing and saying in what amounts to the reinvention of a New America, startingly different from traditional America.

NYC’s Asylum Influx: Balancing Compassion and Practicality

.

Here’s a telling story out of NYC emblematic of what’s happened.  A few weeks ago, a standoff commenced with illegal aliens defying authorities who wanted to move single males to Brooklyn instead of the $ 300-a-night hotel they currently occupied.  City Hall spokesperson said: More than 42,000 asylum seekers have arrived in New York City since last spring, and we continue to surpass our moral obligations as we provide asylum seekers with shelter, food, health care, education, and a host of other services,”

These are some of the same illegals that begged or snuck their way into our country supposedly out of fear for their lives, they claim.  Now they complain that they don’t think their beds are comfortable enough or there is too much competition to use the PlayStations provided to them.  The takeaway is that we invited people here who are pillaging our resources.

Pew Research said in 2018, “There were 44.8 million immigrants living in the U.S., making up 13.7% of the nation’s population.  This represents a fourfold increase since 1960, when 9.7 million immigrants lived in the U.S., accounting for 5.4% of the total U.S. population.  In the last four years, an estimated five million more came across our borders, and another half million on average come each month.  There has never been this level of immigration before.

America is being overwhelmed by foreign cultures.  Do we want this?  How many Americans were asked?  When did we vote to become an open borders country?  Why do we allow this to continue?  Why is this not all we talk about?  Too often, because we are asleep or afraid to say anything.

Our leaders certainly know what is happening; they have the power to turn off the flow instantly but don’t.  The corruption of our leadership is so complete that no one is willing to state the truth that traditional Americans are being deliberately replaced.  I know you have heard this said from the people the Left likes to discount and disparage, such as the so-called right-wingers, kooks, and Ultra MAGAs.  But, without debate and unreported on mainstream media and social media, the most important story of the last 100 years is being buried and chalked up to conspiracy theories and drunk rednecks.  When cornered, they say, “There’s no there, there, move along.”

There are 3,142 political jurisdictions (primarily counties) in the U.S. In the 2020 Presidential election, Biden won 532 counties, and Trump won 3,029 counties.  This means Biden won the presidency with the fewest counties in history.  Where are his votes coming from?  That’s easy, 50 million new immigrants, legal and illegal, have come to our country and who overwhelmingly vote Democratic.

.

Beyond the Popular Vote: Role of Geography in Elections:

.

You can see, by the map above, that our country is overwhelming Republican by geography.  If not for the Electoral College, Democrats would never lose a national election again.  Kudos to our Founding Fathers, who foresaw the possibility of populous states dominating less populated ones.  One more thing that puts the threat into perspective; Republicans have lost seven of the last eight Presidential elections by popular vote.

Structurally, Red states have the leverage to exert their will over blue states in a confrontation.  At a basic level, everyone needs food, shelter, and energy.  Almost all the densest cities, except for Jacksonville, San Diego, and Miami, are majority Democratic and frequently dominated by poor, uneducated people who are net users of resources.  Be aghast if you must, but the truth is that our country is split between producers and non-producers.  We can demonstrate this by using the number of Unemployed per 100k (excluding small states).  Here are the top 9 states plus D.C. with the highest unemployed:

  1. Illinois
  2. District of Columbia
  3. Oregon
  4. Delaware
  5. New York
  6. Michigan
  7. Washington
  8. Ohio
  9. Connecticut
  10. California

All of the above are overwhelmingly Democratic except for Ohio.  Fundamental causation?  Democratic policies that encourage and draw people to Cities with:

  • Lax enforcement of traditional morality laws, no bail policies, and a host of social services
  • Entrenched Democratic leadership that is frequently corrupt
  • Embedded patronage system that puts a premium on loyalty over competence
  • A fiscal system either in ruins or highly dependent on Federal financial support for sustainment
  • Cost shifting.  Individuals that draw benefits return little and vote themselves ever more benefits

The Growing Concern in Democratic Strongholds

.
Where do these stats lead?  Folks in Blue states are sucking up national resources at an unsustainable rate to support an ever-larger pool of non-producers.  I can foresee the day when the national cash drawer is empty.  What will those tens of millions on the dole do when their morning meal is not delivered, or their government-supplied bed is no longer available?  Isn’t the answer obvious?  They’ll take it from you.  80% plus of those takeovers will be in Democratic strongholds, and Red states will close ranks and be forced to fight.

This is when an existential crisis hits and becomes unavoidable.  We will find ourselves in a de facto civil war, and red states will be faced with a decision to rescue Blue states or to let them devolve with the hope of later picking up the pieces to rebuild our country from the remains.

Scary stuff.

God Bless America.
